Ore slime is a kind of mining solid waste, which is often discharged in the form of slurry. After sedimentation, the wastewater is reused, and its sediment is called ore slime. The output is large, and improper handling will not only cause waste of resources, but also cause environmental pollution. At present, the common treatment method of ore slime is to carry out precipitation treatment through the ore slime drying system, so as to realize its resource utilization, reduction and reuse.

The complete set of equipment for the slime drying system consists of conveyors, heat source equipment, feeders, tumble dryers, dust collectors, power distribution cabinets and other supporting equipment. The heat source equipment can be equipped with steam heat exchange device, natural gas burner, oil-fired hot blast stove, coal-fired hot blast stove, biomass hot blast stove, etc. according to the customer's own requirements, and can be flexibly matched with the slime drying system according to the choice of heat source and the local environmental impact assessment standards Dust removal equipment to realize green and efficient drying of slime

The process flow of the slime drying system: After the slime enters the drying drum, it is divided into the following working areas: one is the material guide area, where the slime enters this area and contacts with high-temperature hot air to quickly evaporate water, and the material is copied on the material guide plate with a large lead angle. The second is the lifting board area, where the slime is picked up by the lifting board to form a material curtain state. At this time, the material is in full contact with the hot air, and the water in the slime evaporates rapidly. The water vapor is stripped into water vapor, and the water vapor is then sucked away by the induced draft fan, so as to achieve the purpose of drying the slime; the slime is dried in this area into a loose state with a moisture content of less than 5% (or lower). After the exchange, the material reaches the required moisture state and enters the final discharge area; the third is the discharge area, where the drum does not have a lifting board, and the material rolls and slides to the discharge port in this area to complete the entire drying process.
