Bentonite dryers are used for the rapid drying of various types of mineral soil waste such as bentonite, kaolin, iron-aluminum soil, and diatomaceous earth. They employ high-temperature drying processes, resulting in bentonite with low moisture content, uniform dryness and wetness, stable production capacity, durability, and strong adaptability. Bentonite dryers can utilize multiple fuel heating forms including coal, oil, and gas. Based on the client's project site environmental impact assessment requirements, flexible technical designs are implemented to meet environmental impact assessment standards and ensure continuous production.
This equipment employs a co-current drying process, and its working principle is as follows: After wet materials enter the drying rotary drum, they are divided into the following working zones: First is the feeding zone, where upon entering this zone, the materials come into contact with high-temperature hot air, rapidly evaporating moisture. When the materials are moved at a large inclination under the action of the feeding plates, they are guided to the next working zone; Second is the lifting zone, where the materials are lifted by the lifting plates to form a material curtain. At this point, the materials come into full contact with the hot air, and the moisture in the materials evaporates and extracts as water vapor, which is extracted by the induced draft fan, thereby achieving the drying of the slag; The slag is dried into a loose state in this zone with a moisture content below 5%. After heat exchange, the materials reach the desired moisture content and enter the final discharge zone; Third is the discharge zone, where no lifting plates are installed in this area of the rotary drum, and the materials roll and slide to the discharge port here, completing the entire drying process.
