The coal dryer uses a dedicated dispersion device to break up sticky coal materials and dry them, increasing the contact area between the material and hot air and significantly improving thermal utilization efficiency. The dried coal can reduce moisture content to below 12% in one go and can be used directly as fuel.

The coal dryer mainly consists of a hot air furnace, belt feeder, rotary dryer, belt discharger, exhaust fan, cyclone dust collector, bag filter, and operation control system. Its working principle is as follows: After wet material enters the drying rotary drum, it quickly exchanges heat with high-temperature hot air, causing rapid evaporation of moisture. Under the action of large-angle guide plates, the material is conveyed into the lifting plate zone. In this area, coal forms a material curtain through the lifting plates, ensuring good contact between the material and hot air. The moisture in the coal quickly evaporates into water vapor, which is then extracted by the exhaust fan, thereby achieving coal drying. After heat exchange, the material reaches the required moisture content and is then discharged. After discharge, completing the entire drying process.
