Food waste dryers are suitable for materials such as food scraps, crop straw, fruit pomace, fruit pits, and banana peels. Moisture-containing raw materials will be fed into a dewatering machine. After the moisture content is reduced to 60-65%, the materials are sent to a dryer via a screw conveyor for countercurrent drying. Under the action of internal flip plates, the materials are continuously lifted, dispersed, and move forward in a spiral manner. Through the three-layer structure (inner, middle, and outer), heat exchange between the materials and the hot air medium is achieved. Dried materials, which have reached the desired dryness, move faster and exit through the drum. Undried wet materials, moving slower due to their own weight, continue to dry along the controlled path until they meet the standard, thereby achieving overall drying. After the entire drying process is completed, the materials are discharged by the screw conveyor, with the final moisture content reduced to 14-18%. Special devices are installed inside the dryer to prevent uneven drying of the materials.
