Sand dryer machine are also known as three-cylinder drum dryers or triple-pass drum dryers. They are industrial drying equipment developed and manufactured based on single-cylinder dryers, suitable for non-sticky and liquid materials. Sand is transported to the hopper via belt conveyors or bucket elevators, and then delivered to the feed end by the hopper's feeder. The inclination of the feed pipe should exceed the natural angle of repose of the material to ensure that sand flows smoothly into the dryer. The rotating cylinder of the dryer is slightly inclined. The material enters from the higher end, and the heat carrier enters from the lower end, which allows for poor contact between them; sometimes, the material and heat carrier can also enter the cylinder together. As the cylinder rotates, the sand is carried to the lower side under the action of gravity. During the forward movement, the wet raw material is baked directly or indirectly by the heat carrier, quickly drying the material. The final product is discharged via belt conveyors or screw conveyors. Chutes are installed inside the dryer to flip the material up and down, increasing the contact area between the air flow and the material, improving efficiency, and accelerating the material's movement speed. The heat carriers include hot air, flue gas, etc. After the drying process, a cyclone dust collector is needed to capture particulate matter in the airflow.
