Coal slime is an industrial waste residue generated during the coal washing and selection process. Due to its high moisture content, high viscosity, high water retention, and low calorific value, coal slime is difficult to utilize in industrial applications. Based on the industry market characteristics of coal slime and its inherent properties, after multiple technical research and practical trials, Dingli Company has meticulously developed a new generation of coal slime dryers. The product after drying has a moisture content below 15%, making it an excellent fuel for boilers. The coal slime drum dryer is mainly composed of a hot air furnace, belt feeder, drum dryer, belt discharger, exhaust fan, cyclone dust collector, bag dust collector, and operation control system. The working principle of the equipment is as follows: After wet materials enter the drying drum, they undergo the following process: After coal enters the feeding zone, it quickly exchanges heat with high-temperature hot air, causing rapid evaporation of moisture. Under the action of large-angle guide plates, the material is conveyed to the crushing and beating cleaning process zone. This area is equipped with a crushing and beating device. Wet mud intercepted by the grid plate is beaten and crushed. After repeated crushing and beating, large pieces of wet mud are broken into coal slurry balls with particle sizes of 20-40 millimeters, forming a curtain-like material to increase the heat exchange area, improve drying efficiency, and reasonably remove scale from the inner wall of the drum to prevent mud adhesion. After treatment in the first two zones, the wet mud has become a loose granular state. In the main drying zone, the material is inclinedly conveyed by guide plates to form a uniform material layer, then undergoes full heat exchange with hot air to achieve intense evaporation.
