It increases the drying time of wet raw materials. In terms of airtightness and thermal insulation, the three-pass rotary sand dryer is more reasonable than the single-pass rotary sand dryer. In terms of production capacity, the three-pass rotary sand mold dryer is more than 60% higher than the single-cylinder dryer. The sand dryer can be used to dry silica sand, river sand, quartz sand, fracturing sand, dry-mixed mortar, yellow sand, artificial sand, fly ash, slag, limestone, etc. It is widely used in dry-mixed mortar industry, cement, building materials, glass, casting industry, chemical industry, etc.

Sand is transported to the hopper via belt conveyors or bucket elevators, and then delivered to the feed end through the hopper's feeder. The inclination of the feed pipe should be greater than the natural angle of repose of the material to facilitate smooth flow of sand into the dryer. The rotary cylinder of the dryer is slightly inclined towards the horizontal plane. As the cylinder rotates, the sand is carried by gravity to the lower side. During the forward movement, the wet raw material is directly or indirectly heated and baked, enabling rapid drying of the material. The final product is discharged via a belt conveyor or screw conveyor. Scrapers are installed inside the dryer, which have functions of lifting and scraping material from top to bottom, expanding the contact area between the airflow and the material, improving efficiency, and ensuring rapid movement of the material. The heat carriers include hot air, flue gas, etc.
