A fruit pomace dryer is a device used to process wet fruit pomace. It rapidly evaporates moisture from the pomace through heating and ventilation, ultimately controlling the moisture content to below 10%. The fruit pomace dryer is mainly composed of a drum crusher dryer, a combustion furnace, an inlet screw conveyor, an outlet screw conveyor, conveying pipelines, a dust collector, an air shut-off device, an induced draft fan, a control cabinet, and other components. The fruit pomace is directly fed into the drum crusher dryer via the inlet screw conveyor, where it is repeatedly lifted and scattered by lifting plates on the inner wall of the drum. After being crushed by the high-temperature crushing device at the head of the dryer, the wet material undergoes rapid heat and mass transfer with high-temperature air, completing the heat transfer and mass transfer process. Due to the inclination angle of the drum and the guiding effect of the airflow, the material moves slowly from the inlet end, and after drying, it is discharged via the outlet screw conveyor. The exhaust gas is purified by the dust collector and then discharged into the atmosphere.
